History
In 1724. Fort Dummer established near the site of Brattleboro which is now Vermont. It was the first permanent settlement of Vermont. Its real history begins from 1741.
Geography
It is a green area containing the forested green mts. It is a dominant feature of Vermont. It is divided into four groups which are all traversing in north south direction. It has 23958 sqm land area. It has a population of 623,050.

Dairy farming dominated a long time in agriculture of the state; the important products are apple, syrup, maple, cheese and green houses.
