Minnesota is a Midwestern state of United States. It is the 12th biggest state of US with respect to area; with respect to population it comes at the 21st number. Minnesota is also known as the state of lakes because of its maximum number of lakes. The name of the state is derived from the Dakota word and its meaning is “sky tinted water”. This is may be due to maximum number of lakes in this state.

In may 11 1858, this area was acknowledged to union and was joined with united states, so this state became the thirty second state of united states.

3. Biggest mall

America’s one of the biggest malls is also in this state. The total area of this shopping mall can be compared with more than 70 football grounds.

4. Specialty and fame

The major specialty of this state is a natural resources i.e. its lakes, so its fame is also attached with this fact. Area is lush green and scenery is beautiful due to these waters, so attract a huge number of tourists and casual visitors.

The largest monument and sculpture garden of United States is in this state. This state also owns the largest playhouse and theater named as Guthrie Theater.
