Pandas are one of the cutest animals in the world. They are found in china but have been kept in zoos in different parts of the world. Kids like them very much. Pandas are a species of bear. They might have survived in other parts of the world in the past but from ages they are only seen in china. In china they are respected and loved. 1. Panda population
Pandas are not found in any other part of the world except china. Their natural habitat has shrunk to china because of weather and several other reasons. There are left only 1000 giant pandas in the western part of china.

Though pandas are a species of bears but Chinese do not think the same. They call them the big bear panda probably because of their resemblance with cats or they are as adorable as cars.
3. Climbing trees
Pandas live on trees they climb on them and get their food from there. Because of their nature, at 1 year of age, pandas can climb to large trees without any difficulty.
4. Their white fur
Pandas have two visible colors, white and black. If we see closely, beneath their white fur are black hair and after those black hair comes the original skin. They have pink colored skin.
5. How they climb up the tree
It is not an easy task to climb up the trees. Since most trees are vertical so to climb them up pandas hug the trees and by using their paws and sharp nails they climb up.
6. Scientific names
Every species has been given a scientific name based on their nature. Pandas are called Ailurus Fulgens Satyani.
7. Their teeth
A panda grown to its full height and weight have teeth that are seven times bigger than the human teeth. They help them to take off the skin of branches and trucks
8. They eat to live
Every animal eats to live but pandas need food more than others. A panda needs food regularly and they cannot survive if they do not get food 5-6 hours they might suffer.
9. Huge animals
The fully grown females pandas when give birth to their cubs, at that time there are small and tiny to the extent that they are 900 times smaller than their mothers.
10. They lie down on sit when they eat
Pandas when eat, they sit or lie down. They cannot eat while standing up. They need to be comfortable to eat.
