A rainforest is a forest that has heavy annual rain fall. This heavy rainfall causes heavy and think forest within the forest. These forests are sometimes this much think that sunlight can’t reach the land of these forests, this is why there is always a scene of cold and darkness in these forests. Amazon forest which is also called Amazonia is also one of these forests. It is also known as the world’s greatest natural resource. Amazon River is no different from Amazon forest in its mysteriousness.

The actual length of the Amazon River is still not measured. But it is estimated that its length lies b/w 6,3000 km to 6,800 km, but this is not exact figure.

A common myth about Amazon forest is famous that some ufo’s and aliens have been seen in the forests. Some other people claim that some ‘un watchable’ things are also felt moving in the forest. These things usually kill humans also.

Amazon rainforest covers the area of 25 million square miles. This forest embraces many countries like Brazil, Columbia, Peru, guano, Bolivia etc.
