Teotihuacan, the ancient archeologist city of Mexico, is one of the most visiting historical sites all over the world. 1. History

It has been estimated that the development period of this great city was around 100Bc to 250 AD. At the time of 1st AD, this ancient city was so much developed that it was the sixth largest city of the world at that time.

2. Location

Teotihuacan is situated in Mexico and is about 40 kilometers far from the Mexico City. Now, the total surface area of Teotihuacan is 83 square km.

3. Avenue of Dead

Avenue of Dead is the proof of splendid architectural work in the city Teotihuacan. In the past, this was the main street and divided the Teotihuacan City into two portions. It has length 2.5 km and varying width from 40-95 meters.

4. The Sun Pyramid

The Sun Pyramid that is 63 meters high is one of the famous architectural works in the historic city Teotihuacan. The special things about this pyramid are its cave and five stepped platform.

5. The Moon Pyramid

With Respect to Avenue of Dead, the Moon Pyramid is located at the northern end. This pyramid is famous for many colorful murals.
