There are many animal and plants species in all over the world, which are endangered. Unfortunately humans are the basic cause of their endangering. No doubt, these are also human beings that are trying to save rare species, but cruel people are more than kind people. Here are some facts about endangered animals.
What is endangered?
A plant or animal species, which has a risk to disappear permanently from the earth, is called an endangered plant or endangered animal. If specie disappears, it is called extinct means gone forever. There are many species whish have gone forever.
Threatened species
A specie either plant or animal is called threatened, if there is a possibility of become an extinct. There are over 800 animal and plant species are frightened.
Causes
It is usually come to know that humans are the basic cause of species threatened and extinct. In past many species become extinct due to the humans, including huge birds known as moas in Malaysia and giant lemurs in Madagascar.
Species
There are many species which are got extinct or threatened. They include dire wolves, saber-toothed cats, giant sloths and mastodons.
