Rabbits are the small animals belonged from the kingdom animalia. The family of rabbits is Leoporidea. Rabbits are found everywhere in the world and are loved for their cuteness. Little white rabbits are specially loved by children. Rabbits are also famous in media like a cartoon series named” bugs’ bunny” is the most favorite and famous cartoons. Male rabbits are called buck, females are called doe and the young rabbits are called kit. Like many other animals, rabbits are also divided in several classes and genera.

There are more than 25 rabbit species in the world. Among them cottontails are the most famous and most widely seen all over the world.

3. Life of rabbits
The life expectancy of rabbits is about 8 to 12 years. However their few cases where it is seen that they live up to 19 years. Rabbits are also one of the most social animals after dogs and cats. They love to be coddled in their social activities like playing and attracting people towards them.

It is a strange characteristic of rabbis that need to have their nails clipped every week regularly. Rabbits have 15 toe nails.

The rabbits that belong to the class of pygmy are the smallest rabbits in the world; their weight is less than even a pound.

Rabbits have more than 150 colors. But have only five eye colors i.e. Black, white, brown, grey, marble and pink.
7. Teeth
Teeth of the rabbits always continue to grow. According to different zoologists, the teeth of the rabbits grow about 5 mm per week. But the speed of growing of teeth may vary among different classes and species of rabbits.
8. Speed
Rabbits run really very fast and they can also jump about 100 times higher than their height. They can jump to the height of one meter even.
9. Rabbit’s habits
Rabbits have habits similar to other pet like they love to have fun and love to play with children specially. When they are happy they jump and when they cuddle it means that they are happy being with you and are showing their affection to you.
10. Food
Rabbit’s digestive system is very sensitive; it’s not like the other pets, so one should be very careful about their food that means that their food should be very highly protected because even a small one time amount of wrong food can kill them.
